"Frequently Asked Questions"

How do I place an order?
- I accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Or Click here to print the order form. Fill out all of the necessary information and mail it to me with a $50 deposit (Check or Money Order only). You pay the remaining balance after you receive your product!

If I select "no stain" on my order form, does that mean my bench will not have a protective finish on it?

- No. By clarifying that you do not want your product stained, all that means is that there will be nothing done to it to alter the natural, untouched color and beauty of the wood you choose. Every product that is "Natural" means that it simply has a clear protective finish over the wood. I will never ship you a product that is in its "raw" form unless by special request. Some do-it-yourselfers out there may wish to finish it themselves. That's great!

When the order form asks for my "ideal seating height", what does that mean?

- Your ideal seating height is the height your "backside" is at once you have sat down on whatever current chair or bench you are using. Be sure to take into account the compression of the cushion you may be using as well, as this can change the dimensions. My benches have a 2-inch cushion which will compress about 1 inch after it has been sat on. Be sure to take this into account when determining your ideal seating height. (For example, if you need to be "sitting" at 19 inches, you would want to order a 20-inch bench to allow for that 1 inch of compression.)

If I have my own fabric I wish to use rather than what I see on the website, can you use that to upholster my bench?

- Yes! By all means send it to me, and I will use it on your bench. For the Standard (14" square seating area), send me a 20-inch square piece. For my Piano Bench (14" x 28" seating area), send me an 18-inch by 32-inch piece.

Do you use felt on the bottom of the chair legs?

- Absolutely! Every product that leaves my workshop will have protective felt on all surfaces that may come in contact with the floor. I will also replace any felt pads that become damaged or worn through the years FREE OF CHARGE!

How long will it take to receive my music furniture?

- Generally speaking, it can take from 4-8 weeks for one of my handcrafted products. However, this can vary either way depending upon my current workload and time of year. I will always try to work with you if there is a deadline or special occasion where your product may be needed sooner. Just ask me about it!
