*Children will often tilt forward on the legs of their chair to relieve back pressure. By tilting their chairs forward they avoid bending their backs, allowing the front and back muscles to relax, and thereby sitting in a more comfortable position with a straight back. |
| *While riding a horse, the rider sits upright, yet maintains a lumbar lordosis because the thighs are sloping downwards. This is exactly the same position as the neutral resting position, or sitting on a chair seat that tilts forward. This means the rider is in the perfect position for "Balanced Seating". | ![]() |
| Ron, I received my bench this week and it is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is superb and it is sooo comfortable. I had no idea that a slanted seat could make such a difference. The stain matches my cello like i hoped that it would... Thank you for designing such a wonderful product. Thank you, Debby - Texas (Red Mahogany Stained Walnut Cello Chair w/Customer Submitted Tapestry) |

Ron, I could not be more thrilled with the two cello stands you custom made for my son and me. After searching in vain for a stand that was functional, sturdy, and equal in beauty to the cello it was to hold, your name was recommended to me. Not only were you willing to take on the task of creating a new product, but you tailored the stand to my specific requests--adding a peg to hold the bow, adjusting the base so that the endpin could stay extended, matching the wood/stain to the music stand i was ordering, and ensuring that the stand would accommodate the succession of increasingly larger cellos my young son would be playing over the years. When i first received the pair of stands last year, my son was on a tiny 1/10 size cello. He since graduated to a 1/8 size and just recently to a 1/4 size cello. All it took was a simple twisting of a knob and extension of the pole for each instrument to fit perfectly in the stand. I don't hesitate to show off your finished product at the music school we attend and brag to our teacher and the other students about the personalized service we received from you. Thank you, Allyson - Missouri (-2- Custom Built Aged Cherry Adjustable Cello Stands) |
